In hope (with, for, and through Luke 1:26-38).
Your Body Has Been Made
By Mark Rico
O favored one, the midday sun will fade before the radiance of this, your son and heaven’s heir. Before He is arrayed with glory, He will share the story spun into our frail cloth—the one begun outside of time and finished through a tomb. Ponder this: salvation has been won without a fight, perfected by the bloom of holiness that makes His home inside your womb. Now lift your eyes! Your body has been made the temple of the Lord, the mighty one who wraps Himself in light. Be not afraid of Him whose power garrisons the sun on high. He plants your promise now where none can see—a kingly Son who will assume the burden David could not bear. Now done is death, though for a while you walk in gloom. At His rising, every heart will be illumed.
