Also: I know you work with all sorts of other art forms, so what are some of the "spiritually honest" paintings that immediately come to mind for you?
There are many more as well. The whole history of post-WW1 European art could be seen as the art world's coming to terms with a weakening of religion's influence in the culture around them. I could give you a list but I don't want to spam up your comment section!
